When we started the whole moving process, I tried to think about the easiest way to streamline the packing and unpacking. I found a website that said neon signs are easy to read information on and definitely easy to spot, so I took their advice, and I’ve been happy with it. This is what most of our boxes look like:

Moving Boxes
Organized, easy to read, color coded. My favorite type of organization. :-)
I have written the majority of the signs, but David requested that he be able to write one himself last night. He wouldn’t let me know what it was, but this is what I saw when he finished the box.

Yes, that says "Booze"
Dorky man. :-)

Ornery, Much?
When I saw that, I laughed and said, “At least people won’t think I wrote it since it’s not my handwriting!!” You know what he did? He added the curly-cues to all of the letters to make it more girly. Yes. Then he added the “Penelope wrote this page,” and I added the bottom note. :-) Packing might be a pain, but least we’re having fun together!!
How funny! I think the little curly-cues are a nice touch. I love that y’all have so much fun together–even through packing and moving!

I’m glad you liked it.
David’s a seriously funny man! We do have a blast. He’s such a great husband.
What a great idea! I hope not to move anytime soon (can you imagine? With all the stuff we have right now? Oh, yeah, you haven’t seen the living room lately ~ ugh) but I want to remember the neon sign thing…much more efficient than writing on boxes. David, your sign was Beautiful – good job!
Thanks! Isn’t it awesome?! I got the paper on sale, too, which was great, and for the most part, I actually color-coordinated based on the rooms they were going in. They were SUPER easy to see. Plus, it’s nice writing on the paper and then taping it to the box instead of tipping the box every time.
